Boy or Girl?

Its seems to be the popular thing at the moment to have all your friend’s over and in front of them find out the sex of your baby. I hear the cool kids are calling them gender reveals. And while many of us have had to put our celebrations on hold, these guys went ahead with theirs.
Those who know Barbie, knows she loves any excuse for a party. I was invited to celebrate with her and Ken’s nearest and dearest and captured the moment they found out what their little buddle of joy is ! She went all out for her gender reveal party. Fairy lights, cake and a balloon wall. I must say I enjoyed the afternoon, even if it was a bit windy and everyone was a bit wobbly on their legs late into the day 😉

And of course the thing you are all dying to know- Barbie is having a GIRL, I mean how could she not with her love of all things pink! Did you have a gender reveal? Cake smash Birthday fun

Celebrating with a cake smash is such a fun way to remember your little person turning one. I often find it turns into a family affair, whether or not it’s chasing them around the studio, cuddles in between, or older siblings teaching the birthday child what to do ! No matter what they are always lot’s of fun, and provide everyone involved, including me, lots of laughs !

Here are a few images from Hendrix’s cake smash , I photographed him for his newborn photos and also a extended family session, so I really loved smashing some cake with him too 🙂 They really do grow so fast that first year.

Hopefully I am able to get back in the studio soon and capture more of these fun sessions for everyone! Once we have passed winter, outdoor cake smash sessions are also an option , feel free to get in contact if you’d like more info x

Angus

Way back in June last year I had Sarah and Chad bring in their new bundle of joy, Angus, for his newborn session.

Little angus had such beautiful blond hair, as you can see in the photos below!

During the session Chad mentioned he loved the band AC/DC (wouldn’t have guessed- them naming bubs Angus) So You’ll see an image below I did for them as a extra in their gallery 🙂 I love being able to make sessions personalised, weather its a set up or a prop bought from home !

Oh Cooper!

At 6 weeks old he was fantastic – didn’t mind being wrapped- and we got some super cute awake shots!

You can tell I’m way behind on blogging as he’s been in the studio again since this session for his Christmas photos!

Christmas Give-away!

Firstly, I just want to say Merry Christmas to everyone!

This year has been my busiest by far. I have been lucky to have so many awesome people come through the studio and I am forever thankful. Booking a session allows me to be able to work from home and provide for my family doing something I love- what could be better.

I am so excited to see what next year brings.

This year I have decided to give away of TWO gift vouchers (valued at $150!) – these voucher cover a weekday milestone session or they can be used towards a newborn or family session- winners choice!

So- What’s a milestone session?!

It’s an amazing way to capture some images throughout childhood! Life is busy (especially at this time of year) and we often forget to stop and just take a moment to take it all in.  Having some professional photos of your life right now- weather it’s their toothless smile, them learning to sit, starting to walk, skinned knees or even the school years (and not the awkward school photo 😉 ) right now is worth capturing and remembering for years to come.

These Sessions will be held in my Nairne studio during the week and will include 5 digital images available to download via a private online gallery. The vouchers must be used by the end of April 2020.
