Studio and Location Maternity session

It feels like only last week that these guys we in front of my camera for Rikki’s Maternity session, and then again for Dustin’s newborn session. But here we are in May and were all ready planning his sitter session 🙂 I feel like I say it alot, but time just does fly by.

We decided to split Rikki’s maternity session in half and do studio and outdoors- that way we could get a mixutre of images 🙂 I cant pick a favourite , I am loving them all! The Mount Barker wetlands is one of my favourite places to photograph at- perfect at any time of the year with so many perfect spots as we walk around.

See you in front of my camera again soon Rikki, Jayson and Dustin , I’m looking forward to it!

maternity session

Time is moving slowly,
The day is almost here.

The anxiety and joy is building up,
For my baby boy will soon appear.

I can’t wait to see your smiling face,
And hold your little hand.

Just then I’ll know deep inside
that you’re my little man.

I have so much to share with you
day after day.

And to you my son I will give my love
in each and every way

Studio Maternity sessions are a favourite of mine.

I love capturing the love between a couple before they welcome a new family member.

I love knowing that in years to come they can show their child these photos and he or she will know that’s what their parents looked like before they were earth side.

family reunion Strath

I love photographing this family.

I have had them in front of my camera a couple of times, and each time its a pleasure.

This time is was to celebrate family who were visiting from overseas, what beautiful memoires they now all have as a keepsake!

It was a windy day so we decided to make the most of the beautiful homes undercover porch! We also done a few inside photos, and then headed out to enjoy the beautiful scenery the property offers for a big group photo!

Nairne Maternity

Maternity photos are so special.

If I had my way every mum to be would have them taken.

What an awesome thing it is to show your children what you looked like while you were pregnant! My children love looking at our photos – seeing what I looked like while I was pregnant with them.

To have them forever and look back over the years is a must.

Stunning Steph was in the studio a while back making sure she has images to show her son 🙂

Family session at Laratinga Wetlands

I love walking around the Laratinga Wetlands in the morning after I drop the kids at school, or as a family on the weekends. Its relaxing but it also gives me inspiration on different spots to photograph the beautiful families I get in front of my camera! As the seasons change so does this place which means all year round I have a great location so close to home.

I photographed these guys before Lucas was born when it was just Tobias and His mum and dad! So it was great seeing them again to capture some family images but also so individual images of both the boys.

We were lucky with the weather back in June when we held this session, the rain stayed away and we managed to get some great memories to keep.
