New addition

Last year you might remember Toyworld Mount Barker had a baby expo.

I was lucky enough to attend and it was a great. I was shooting mini sessions all day and had the best time 🙂

I also gave away TWO sessions, and these guys were the winner of one of them.

As usual I’m way behind on blogging so little Charlotte is already seven months old! Just another reason why newborn photos are so important, life just passes by so quick, babies don’t stay little for long x

Here are just a handful of images from Elly and Kyle’s session 🙂

A little girl

I love photographing families of my amazing friends. I feel as if I already know them! And with these guys I did, as I had already photographed Malcolm when he was a newborn.

I was so happy to hear these guys were expecting again, and a little bit excited that they would have a little girl running around at their family catch ups as she is defiantly out numbered by all the boys! I’m sure Ivy will grow up to boss them all around haha

Here are a few images from their session.

Thanks for choosing me again to take your family photos Vanessa and Barney!

Newborn baby boy

Time just fly’s by.

I always think I only photographed families the other month, then I look at the date and find out it was nearly a year ago! It’s the same in my own home, watching my own kids just grow up so fast- I’m sure every parent feels the same! I did say I was going to blog more – turns out that was a lie lol. Oh well, better late than never….

Here are a few images from Mattias newborn session held back in September last year!

Growing bump..

Before we went into this session- my plan was to take just a couple of photos so Barbie and Ken had some images to keep and show generations (and you guys) for years to come. After the first couple of images, ideas came flooding to me and I knew I’d end up taking so many ,over a couple of day’s – because really what else is there to do at the moment? lol

We couldn’t decide on outdoors or studio session- so we went for both.

Do you have a favourite?

I actually have a heap of maternity dresses that clients can use, however Barbie wanted something different that fitted her unique figure, so sorry to other clients, but these dresses are not in my normal collection.

I’m really looking forward to next weeks outdoors ‘Real life maternity session’ that’s booked and all future sessions, can you tell??

Here are some images we captured 🙂

Hopefully Barbie births on her due date, which is THIS Sunday for those wondering 😉

Boy or Girl?

Its seems to be the popular thing at the moment to have all your friend’s over and in front of them find out the sex of your baby. I hear the cool kids are calling them gender reveals. And while many of us have had to put our celebrations on hold, these guys went ahead with theirs.
Those who know Barbie, knows she loves any excuse for a party. I was invited to celebrate with her and Ken’s nearest and dearest and captured the moment they found out what their little buddle of joy is ! She went all out for her gender reveal party. Fairy lights, cake and a balloon wall. I must say I enjoyed the afternoon, even if it was a bit windy and everyone was a bit wobbly on their legs late into the day 😉

Check out some photos below, there was so much food and laughs.

And of course the thing you are all dying to know- Barbie is having a GIRL, I mean how could she not with her love of all things pink! Did you have a gender reveal? Or would you if you were to have another baby?! Have you seen a cool way to find out other than the balloon or cake way? Feel free to leave a comment and let us know x

We’ve got a date for her maternity photos (weather depending) – so stay tuned…

ITS A GIRL!
