Newborn Photos

Its only when friends have a new baby you realize how busy life is and how little you see each other.

Jess and her family are old school friends we have know for years from when we lived in Whyalla. (feeling really old now!)

We all now live in Adelaide but this is the first time we have caught up in Adelaide! I know- shocking!

I was so happy when they booked in for maternity and newborn photos.

Although little Dayne had other ideas and decided to come early. I swear he just wanted in on the Christmas pressies.

So as it turned out we ended up holding his newborn session the same week we had booked the maternity session for!

A Huge congratulations again Jess and David. I’m glad he is here safe and happy.

Sibling Photography Mount Barker

Its no secret that sibling images are my favourite, so I was very happy to have Noah, Zoe and Sophia come in with Ari.

And when you get to have the morning of school to spend some extra time with your new baby brother- what more could you ask for!

Thanks so much Bianca and Darrell for bringing your beautiful family to the studio for Ari’s first ever photoshoot.

Little Dontae was born November the 1st. Which is when we can start officially get excited for Christmas – yes?

He was so content during his session, letting me take lots of Christmas themed and normal images to include in his gallery!

cake smash

I love planning parties, so its no surprise when I book a cake smash I get a little excited.  I always talk with mum (and dad) about what their little one likes or what sort of theme they are having for the first birthday party.

For Henry’s session we incorporated his love of giggle and hoot!

I am lucky to be able to tell Samone from The best things in life are sweet the theme, then I trust her to make a cake that will suit!!  I LOVE how this one turned out!

renee-diaz-photographyAnother fun thing about cake smashes is you never know how they will go! Some kids just want to eat and wont look up, some love it and then get over it very quickly and some just don’t want a bar of it! But no matter how much they do or don’t love the cake, its still always so fun watching them !renee-diaz-photography_13renee-diaz-photography_15It was so funny, Henry wasn’t interested in the cake- he just wanted to play with the basket of shoes by the front door!renee-diaz-photography_31After the cake smash- we headed outside to get a few extra images !renee-diaz-photography_101renee-diaz-photography_108Thanks for letting me capture his first birthday guys!
