Family session at Laratinga Wetlands

I love walking around the Laratinga Wetlands in the morning after I drop the kids at school, or as a family on the weekends. Its relaxing but it also gives me inspiration on different spots to photograph the beautiful families I get in front of my camera! As the seasons change so does this place which means all year round I have a great location so close to home.

I photographed these guys before Lucas was born when it was just Tobias and His mum and dad! So it was great seeing them again to capture some family images but also so individual images of both the boys.

We were lucky with the weather back in June when we held this session, the rain stayed away and we managed to get some great memories to keep.

Thanks for a fun night guys

Simple and all focused on baby are my favourite type of photos.

I love that Dion and Nicole will have these memories to look at next year and every year after. When Mason reaches a new stage of growing up they will be able to look back and remember the small details that we all forget. That flaky skin and those tiny fingers.

I love that in 20 years time, or even 30 little Mason will have these timeless images of himself as a newborn and will be able to show his own kids.

I love my job 🙂

Adelaide Hills photography

I really don’t like winter (I can hear all of you saying ‘yep, me too!’), I get cold so easy as it is, so add in a cold day in the Adelaide Hills and I’m freezing. So I don’t blame anyone for thinking winter wouldn’t be the right time to get family photos done.. you would be so wrong though!

However look at that golden light, that alone makes it all worth it to me.

Plus I don’t know about you guys, but I’m way more comfortable in my jumpers, kids are so cute with beanie’s and scarfs and if it has rained who doesn’t like chucking on a pair of gumboots and jumping in muddy puddles!

I’m so glad these guys braved the cold. I love these images. What a great way to remember Noah and Lacey’s turning one!
