Family images

It was so lovely having these guys in the studio last month. I really enjoy family and sibling images at the start of our newborn sessions.

Here are a few images from little Imogen’s session. Thanks to Alice, Rob and Joseph for coming to the studio 🙂

Newborn Nairne

Newborn sessions are hands down my favourite sessions, for many, many reasons. I could easily photograph them every day.

I love the families I get to meet. I love the cuddles. I love the challenge they present (no- babies don’t just sleep all the time lol).

Each session I have a rough workflow I go through. I photograph the family and sibling photos first while bubs is wrapped. This gives baby time to fall alseep naturally and hopefully into a deep sleep, so we can move to the bean bag and get some images. It also then lets everyone relax while I focus on your baby.

However workflow or not – each session is always different! Babies have their own schedules so sometimes we change things up to keep your baby happy! I don’t rush my sessions. If your baby needs a top up- we stop and feed. If your baby wakes up and no longer wants to be undressed, we go back to wrapped images.

I have a favourite bowl I think I can safely say I use in every session 😛

Here is a few photos from when Hayley and Roger brought in Harrison in for his newborn session back in April.

Studio and Location Maternity session

It feels like only last week that these guys we in front of my camera for Rikki’s Maternity session, and then again for Dustin’s newborn session. But here we are in May and were all ready planning his sitter session 🙂 I feel like I say it alot, but time just does fly by.

We decided to split Rikki’s maternity session in half and do studio and outdoors- that way we could get a mixutre of images 🙂  I cant pick a favourite , I am loving them all! The Mount Barker wetlands is one of my favourite places to photograph at- perfect at any time of the year with so many perfect spots as we walk around.

See you in front of my camera again soon Rikki, Jayson and Dustin , I’m looking forward to it!

Remy and his newborn sister.

Today I’m blogging this beautiful family.

Another that I have had in front of my camera many times. I swear the best part of my job is being able to photograph both siblings as newborns and watching them grow.

This session was also at the end of last year, so time has certainly flown by.

Such a beautiful family, I’m looking forward to the next time I photograph Remy and Willow.

This session feels like it was forever ago! And it is not far off from being true 😉

I photographed this beautiful family back in Novemebr last year.

With school holidays here now I am trying to find some time to get caught up on blogging ! lets see how I go ;P

Having photographed both these boys as newborns now  its lovely to see how much they grow.

Sibling images are always my favourite as they are always so different. I love what we managed to capture here of Oscar and Felix.
