Pregnancy photography in the Adelaide hills

You know you have a back log of blogging to do when this beautiful is now weeks into being a family of four!

Danielle, Ryan and Remy were the very last family I photographed in the old studio (they were also the first newborn in the new studio- but that blog post will have to wait!)

These guys are so great. I loved having them back in front of my camera. I photographed them when Danielle was pregnant with Remy, and then and for his Newborn and sitter session. Its so lovely being able to watch him grow each time I see him. One of the beautiful perks of my job !

Dear Baby,

Although I cannot see you,

I still know that you are there.

You are warm and snug inside me,

and require gentle care.

Although I cannot hold you

or give you a kiss good night

I feel you move inside me,

and know that you are alright.

Althought I canont kiss you

or show you how I feel

I know you share my feelings

and that our bond is real.

You are with me all the time

and always on my mind.

Already I have fallen in love,

with my precious gift from above.

I have loved you from the start.

You are a tiny miracle

laying closely to my heart.

Each day I feel your presence,

each day you quickly grow.

Each day your heart beats softly,

as only I could know.

So I’ll keep this in a special place,

and remember each year passing through,

of this very special time of life,

the months I carried you.

lifestyle maternity session

Two years ago I was photographing these guys except it was James in Jess’s baby bump!

Fast forward to last week and James is growing in to such a beautiful big boy and we were photographing them before the arrival of another beautiful little boy!

We went with more of a life style themed outdoor session to capture them on their last days of being a family of 3. Then on the following day we headed in the studio.

I always get asked if I prefer studio or outdoor maternity sessions best- and I really can not give you an answer. I love both just as much.

I can not wait to have these guys come back in the studio tomorrow and bring along their new bundle of joy – I’m just a little excited!
